The life right concept is unique in that it gives the occupant and spouse the right of occupation of their unit for the rest of their lives. This is a legal form of “ownership”, controlled by The Housing Schemes for Retired Persons Act No. 65 of 1988 , as amended.
Drawing on its extensive experience in property and age management, Communicare began building Commercial Retirement Complexes in 1983 - Berghof, in the Gardens, being the first to be opened.
